Hi! My name is Tracy Hawkins, a local wedding singer in Lancashire, and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been singing since I was 17 years old and this is something I am very passionate about. I enjoy entertaining - there is no better feeling than seeing the audience having a good time and enjoying my performance.
When I first began singing, I trained in musical theatre; I joined a theatre group and went touring, performing Shakespeare's plays in schools. This experience taught me how to bring a song to life and make the performance believeable.
I have entertained in a variety of venues: from pubs, hotels and wedding receptions to residental accommodation across Lancashire. These functions have enabled me to build up a portfolio of songs, which allows me to choose music that is appropriate for my audience.
I have a catalogue to suit all tastes - from the 1950s through to the present day: soul, country, and songs from "the musicals". For that special occasion, I will work very closely with you to decide on those songs which mean a lot to you and your partner; this will help create a truly unique occasion.
I am happy to attend fétes, wedding and civil ceremonies, hotels and restaurants, care and respite homes, and corporate events. My rates are very competitive. I have my own modern PA system which is suitable for all sizes of venue. I am friendly and approachable, and I aim to provide a relaxed atmosphere through my music and unique style of singing.
